Re SUVs

spiny norman--the lesser

I concur. I live in Texas in ranch country and out here pickups are common because they are quite useful SUVs not so, no good for hauling hay or livestock, marginally better for people. I was employed as a mechanic at a Land Rover dealership and I don't recall ever seeing one that even had dirt on it. I'll stick with a truck for utility and a couple of little cars and big bikes for my personal mobility.

SEE?

He agrees and HE'S A TEXAN!

When a Texan thinks something's too big and stupid it's definitely time for change.

Thank you.

I don't believe you can lay the blame for starting the trend on the Range Rover...not exactly a popular seller in the states. Jeep got it started, with the Cherokee, i believe. Don't quote me on it, though.

When I went to Texas I noticed they all drove Ford F350?thread=When I went to Texas I noticed they all drove Ford F350 pickups, which I would consider a 'lil bit bigger than a Range Rover. (Especially those long-wheelbase 4-door versions; what's the point!?)..
