Catwoman

I was almost expecting it this week, since it appeared on Wednesday (somehow), so I thought someone who was ever-so-slightly obsessive might have seen it and written up a super-fast review.

Post 8

Swiv (decrepit postgrad)

good generally - since I'd much rather love the films than not... it's just that the cinema is expensive!

Post 9

Catwoman

Tell me about it. And getting to the cinema, and stuff to eat while there (like Ben&Jerry's).

Post 10

Swiv (decrepit postgrad)

The one here doesn't (although there is a Sainsbury's nearby). It does sell Haagen-Dazs. The one in Cambridge sells Ben&Jerry's.

still...

actually - the one in Cornwall sells Hagen Daz, but up here I'd have to walk accross town carrying stuff.

a whole THREE streets. It's shocking

Post 15

Catwoman

*shudders at the size of my bank balance if there was a cinema within three streets*

Post 16

Swiv (decrepit postgrad)

*chuckles*

yeah it gets a bit like that - but it's a small independent thing, so it often has nothing but Hollywood dross for a while, and then all the smaller stuff I want to see appears in one go.

Next week

Post 17

Catwoman

Hey, there's nothing wrong with dross. I find it very entertaining (although I wouldn't pay for it, but when you have Sky TV...)

Next week

Post 18

Swiv (decrepit postgrad)

but if you want a night out at the cinema and there's nothing but dross on then it's really not appreciated!

Post 19

Catwoman

Well, okay, but people shouldn't criticise dross for being itself. If the dross is oreventing you from doing what you want to do with your time, that's an acceptable reason to complain.
