Christmas Gifts I can remember
1. A Timex watch with a metal band and a blue face, from my Grandpa.
2. A plastic tommy gun with a red thing that went in and out of the muzzle when you pulled the trigger after drawing back a cocking piece, from my Uncle Tom.
3. Hot Wheels, a sparkly green Chevy Nomad and a dark blue Beetle, from my mother.
4. A light blue Julliette transistor radio, from my Grandpa.
5. A plastic bowling set, from my Grandma.
6. Socks, from my mom.
7. A set of Bic Banana drawing markers from my father.
8. A handsewn teddy bear, from a woman in our church when I was two. I don't remember receiving it, but I still have it!
9. A subscription to National Geographic magazine, from my mom's mom.
10. A set of large photos of Johnson Space Center and it's museum, from my Great Aunt Barbara.
11. A toy John Deere tractor, from my Grandpa. It actually steered.
12. A kitten, named Lucy, from an old girlfriend.
13. A tricycle, from my folks.
14. An old-fahioned push-down metal top with brightly printed concentric colors, from my Grandmother.
15. A thick plastic red rocking horse, which I still have, from my Grandpa.
16. Car and plane models. A Messerschmidt Me 109, a Jaguar XKE, and a destroyer battleship whose name I cannot remember. Also a scale model of the Vanguard satellite. I can't remember who gave those to me.
17. A Close and Play record player with three record/storybooks: Winnie the Pooh (the Disney version), Alice in Wonderland (the Disney version), and Snow White (yeah, you guessed it). From my folks, possibly the last Christmas they were together.
That's all I can rememer right now. Apologies to those folks who gave me stuff that I can't remember.
