Well, Cap'n, now you know the message you get when I'm online... Good news is, when someone's online, it forwards to a toll-free number. Bad news is that you can't pick up to answer... By the time the message plays, the caller has hung up. If you'd called just an hour earlier, the phoneline would have been free (or if you'd called on time)
I'll check out the pics after I get caught up with backlog

So I got the message; at 6:50 pm, A bit over an hour before the last meeting point! I was all flustered and bothered, rushed home on foot, but I was right. It really is 5 minutes on foot away from my home. A fun night was had by me at least.

Cheers for the link, I've added the photos to the Manchester Feb 2003 photo page at A963092. I'll get round to putting my own there as soon as I get round to retrieving my digital camera (it got borrowed by an enthusiastic parent who then left it at work )

The page is looking a bit spartan so far. Unfortunately, I neglected to bring my camera in the rush to get there.

Ah, the joys of having Broadband... and no life!
It was great to see you all again! I was very pleasantly surprised with how many actually made it. I think we made the bloke on the door at the restaurant panic though
I guess that means we'll have to do another one *very* soon... How's the beetroot going now Granny?

I refuse to teach them how to use mine, so my camera is safe
Bob; we did a Chinatown one, think you came to the pub before hand, and stayed there, So I missed you as I only made it to the restaurant. Doh! If people are interested I don't see why not. DNA meets U188421 will be on the case...
And I missed the last bowling outing too, I will beat 3sec!

Sorry if I was a bit incoherent on the phone, Amy - I often am with automatic answering services. Mind you, I'm not always that coherent 'live'!
Sorry I called so late too - we were full of good intentions - Granny and I discussed making the call at about 7:00pm, but there were only half a dozen of us in the Salisbury so we decided to wait till we got to the Whitworth, but we weren't there long so decided to wait till we got to the restaurant and next thing we knew it was well past the time we'd agreed...
And it was really noisy so I had to call you from the gents

The funny part was that you were the one that reminded me that you were going to call at 7.30! Oh, well, next time!
