OUCH! 
and working too!
Perhaps riding first thing in the morning isn't for you either?
I rise at 5:30 each weekday to be at work by 7:00. 
If I decide to go in by , I can stretch it to a 6:00 wake-up.
One morning last winter the road was a little black and I applied the car's brakes gently to slow down for traffic ahead. Nothing happened 
and I careered into the back of a string five other cars, with two more getting into the act behind me.
Stepping out of the car I realised why - black ice! Not unusual in the Northern hemisphere, but in sunny South Africa it's as common as men falling pregnant. The whole front end between the two indicators was all crunched in and cost me a bundle. I still want to find out which blithering idiot washed down the road surface on a freezing cold night!
