A Conversation for Dualism: A Recurring Christian Heresy

So... wait, what now?

I'm a bit confused about your definition of dualism. What I know of dualism, I believe: That man is a creature of body and spirit. I think this is evidenced by the fact that the conciousness has not been pinned down to a certain part of the body or brain. It would seem that the body and spirit of man are closely knit together and are one creature.

There are also specific verses in the Bible about the sinful nature of the flesh, so I suppose I believe that evil is at least associated with the body half of man.

But I don't believe that baptism is a transition from body to spirit. After baptism, I am still a creature of body and spirit, and they still work together (although I sometimes feel like they're arguing).
