Your conversation with Copilot is reminiscent of conversations with Cleverbot...

I like the humour you bring to it! "Copilot, which has been outfitted with a Genuine People Personality. (I have not.)" smiley - rofl "Hm, all hat and no cattle, here." smiley - snork

It is fascinating that it wasn't able to provide you with a named artwork - I wonder if it sees a copy of the image appears in a copyrighted book or something, so has to avoid it.

"almost, but not quite, entirely unlike Albert Einstein." - yes indeed smiley - yikes

Fascinating how it told you it had created a blank canvas, when the canvas wasn't blank, even though it had already given you a blank canvas in a different image... Somewhat disturbing that it also told you it had created a cat with "form abstract and angular" when it hadn't - trying to 'psych you out'. Then again, humans do that, too - quite often I read sentences such as 'This document is a concise summary' - it would be more concise if it didn't tell people it was concise - people can judge for themselves smiley - laugh

"smarmy AI prose" - yes indeed. I read recently that ChatGPT was made more 'polite' or something in an update, but came across as unpleasantly obsequious instead so they rolled back the update.

I like TJ's impression of a Picasso style in your montage smiley - ok

Mention of Botticelli's Birth of Venus reminds me of my first attempts at photoshopping (without the aid of photoshop) - Birth of Venus was pre-loaded into the drawing package DeluxePaint III and I polished the picture so it looked more like the real thing (I particularly remember toning Venus's face from bright reds to more peachy tones, almost on a pixel-by-pixel basis smiley - loveblush) - useful skills for later image work smiley - ok

smiley - rofl Good for you, repairing Botticelli. It used to be, back in my youth, that you could find knockoff copies of 'Birth of Venus' everywhere, frequently referred to as 'Venus on the Half-Shell', which is probably why I thought of it...

Yes! You got it! I was testing whether the AI could correlate images and text. And it can't. It's following its programming, but the claims of its ability to analyse and collaborate are seriously overrated.

TJ, on the other hand, is up for just about anything, and definitely cleverer than your average AI. smiley - cat

I've noticed that Copilot is overfriendly and tends to flatter...

Interesting experiment.

I am now tempted to put your original query in my AI imaging tool.

Mine isn't that chatty, you just enter prompts and hope for the best. It doesn't ask if you like what it came up with.

First attempt: Venus (with a shirt on) is making a painting of Einstein instead. Too close up to see a cat. Three out of four results are not shown because of apparent violation of the app's regulations.
