The Oldest Tree in Austria

Somewhere on that mountain grows the oldest tree of Austria in a crack on the rocks. It's a black fir tree of about 850 years. A very common type of tree around here. They found it a few years ago.

It grows kind of like a bonsai on very little soil and the scientists say that this makes it quite resilient as it is used to stress.
On this mountainside is the oldest tree in Austria.
