The Temple of Augustus

Temple of Augustus at Pula.
This is the Temple of Augustus, built between 2 BCE and 14 CE, to celebrate the alleged divinity of the emperor. It was later used as a Christian church, then a grain storehouse, a city archive, and under Napoleon, a collection of archaeological monuments. It was renovated after the Second World War.
