You can beat a dead horse. It is even preferable over beating a live horse. Looking at the attire, I guess this dead horse was of the kind that goes boing boing in a pretty lively way though.
There is a saying about what the size of your car says about you, but I'll keep it to me.

Yes, I know that saying - car maker Mini used it in a range of adverts for their cars several years ago...
The Isle of Wight's 1973 car the Enfield 8000 was even shorter than a mini, being a 2.7m / 8ft 10" long electric car. They didn't have one at Riverfest, alas.
