I don't believe I ever came across those texts on headstones in real life (Dead bloke, beloved husband / Ghost of Christmas yet to come), although I do not regularly go to graveyards as a hobby (just to get some drinking water while hiking. There is always a tap in a graveyard. Useful thing to know.)

Yes, you need water for the flowers.
I think that just means that you've not visited the graveyard where the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and the Dead Bloke, Beloved Husband are buried.
