Violins also work well if you want to play that scheme. Especially if you can't actually play the violin and create the sound of sawing donkeys in half. (that is from firsthand experience after borrowing my niece's violin)
Can they play 'Barrel of a gun' by Depeche Mode? Or Fantasia & Fugue in G minor (to test the capabilities of the organ and get your money's worth of air).
