Cat gods are always tricky.

This morning I heard on the radio about research that cats have some 272 distinct facial expressions (humans have 44), half of which are positive, 18% is ambiguous (only 18%? I would have guessed that portion would be much greater) the rest is hostile.

Ziggy, the neighbours' cat usually tries to tell something like 'scratch behind my ears until I have had enough, which I tell you by attacking your hand, nails out'. Ziggy sometimes walks up to me while meow-talking.
