I once went to visit a relative's farm with my Grandmother. The kids had created a set of tunnels, one including a slide, in their rather big haystack. In hindsight this was not a very safe operation, but luckily we all survived. No cave-ins were ever reported.

They collected pallets from local businesses to keep the hay safe and dry.
