You kept me wondering about the setup. At first I thought you were puttin the little sub-chapters in reverse order (with one Agnes). The 'Agneses' clarified it in the end.

Watched a movie last night, opening shot was a rooftop view of that same statue in my opening para, very impressive when it's not just in your imagination!
