So is that really moss the snipe's feeding in? Where is it that the moss grows that densely on the ground? At any rate I enjoyed the vid, especially seeing the snipe using its feet and bill to groom. Over here we have African Snipe, which look pretty much the same. I've seen one only once, at the Lichtenburg Game Breeding Centre. It was quite relaxed and we could view it very well.
