I like the summary photo collage thing as a concept.
Comparing this week (AI) to last week (paint handywork): The picture alignment / distribution of the AI picture is slightly better (but I don't know how many crappy ones you got from the AI before getting this result).
Looking forward to the next one.

Okay, one vote for the AI, thanks! I do have to struggle with it - we don't see eye to eye on things. But there will be more AI in issues to come.
Mind you, the AI is tolerable as long as WE PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL IMAGES. What you DON'T want is the AI providing the images. Its aesthetic sense is definitely defective, and it's been programmed full of those corporate stock photos, heaven help us.
Yesterday, I had quite a battle with it trying to make flower+poem posters - a simple concept, one might think. I have sent appropriate feedback, since this is a beta version.

Yes, the photo montage is a good idea
I'm not sure which I like better. The AI one is good, with the different sized images that fit together neatly, but it is interesting that it is an image you 'curated'. I like the one in paint too - panoramic images sandwiching portrait images
I have been using a data management tool with AI features - left to its own devices, the AI produces meaningless charts, but if I provide the right prompts it can build useful charts more quickly than I could build them myself by searching the tool to find the relevant options.
I don't always trust what it does, though - I fear it might 'hallucinate' if I ask it a question that is too difficult, rather than admitting like HAL9000, 'I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that'. I switched between the tool and Excel when I was writing a report for my boss.
PS Thank you for restoring the Crime has been Committed Archive - I appreciate it very much

Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, I agree with you and Tavaron that AI needs a lot of nudging. It's a tool, and sometimes useful.
We'll put the individual stories' archives in at the end of each one, too, so if anybody wants to follow that story chapter-by-chapter they won't have to scroll so much.

After every update of the AI art app I use, it gets harder to obtain something I like. Originally it had one AI engine, now I have to choose between 12 different ones. It also has a tendency to add bare naked ladies. Probably based on what other users are asking.

Aha. It 'learns' bad habits.
