The Worst Jokes You'll Read This Week

As an office prank, the boss sends the office boy out for 5 cents' worth of radium. The office workers find this droll. It's a really old cartoon.

The Prof was locked out of his h2g2 account all week, and we went into bad-joke withdrawal. Thanks to TAD Dorgan for filling in. TAD Dorgan was a very popular cartoonist in his day, which is hard to understand if you read this stuff. His drawing is remarkable, though: he was disabled and only had a thumb and one finger on his drawing hand, the result of a childhood accident. He learned to draw as manual therapy. He also invented lots of slang, such as 'the cat's meow'.
