Flowering plant, by Minorvogonpoet

Minorvogonpoet writes:

I've been going to lots of meetings on Zoom or Skype and you get to see the insides of peoples' houses. At the beginning of one meeting, someone asked if the plant behind me was dead. I assured him that it wasn't and that it sometimes flowered. The plant is an Epiphyllum, and much of the time, it just droops, but once a year it flowers spectacularly.
