Critters with Coins

In the h2g2 Post Bug Special it was suggested that taking photos of bugs alongside coins would be more helpful, to give a sense of scale - my carpet beetle looked much bigger than its 2-3mm thanks to the power of a zoom lens.

Here is my first attempt at 'Critters with Coins'. I am not a fan of spiders, but water spiders such as this one are my 'favourites' (in the sense that they are the ones I find least scary) as their bodies are only small even though their legs are long. I managed to get a 50 pence piece vaguely near to this one, so you can see that the spider has an impressive diameter.
