I have seen an Auricula Theatre in real life, but I do like the background on this one - adds even more drama than just a plain white wall.
Auriculas are fascinating plants, so gaudy and yet so precise in the geometry of their blooms, so I'm not surprised they became so popular as show-off plants!

Ah I see it now, sorry - I had preconceptions because FWR was reminiscing in another thread about the time he washed the writing off the labels when he watered his plants with a hose
