I have seen an Auricula Theatre in real life, but I do like the background on this one - adds even more drama than just a plain white wall.

Auriculas are fascinating plants, so gaudy and yet so precise in the geometry of their blooms, so I'm not surprised they became so popular as show-off plants!

I recognised it as a sword.

Maybe a bit short for de-auricularisation...
