You know, I thought these jokes were fun, but a bit 'over the top'. This is largely because I live in the anti-capital of the fashion world, Pennsylvania, where people's idea of chic involves a first-rate collection of baseball caps with slogans, or a really cool t-shirt with a witty saying.

But just now, on Twitter, some people were making mock of some singer or whatnot I'd never heard of, from Ireland, I think, for dressing in some way they thought was tacky. And somebody wrote, 'What next? More of that awful high-viz clothing?'

High visibility rules! Better than being run over...
