Great review
I vote for reviews of old movies - I'd be interested in learning more about what you would recommend, as I do like watching DVDs when I get chance
Most recently I watched the first episode of the BBC America Dirk Gently on DVD - rather too violent for my taste, but fascinating to see how far 'they' pushed Douglas Adams' original stories

Apparently I watched the BBC Dirk Gently when it was first on ten years ago, though I can remember very little about it now: https://aw1x.wordpress.com/2010/12/17/saving-the-entire-human-race-from-extinction-not-required/
I am cooking up a few bits and pieces to keep things ticking over, so the column will be continuing for the time being.

Ah, I enjoyed the 2010 BBC one - again not the closest adaptation, but it was suitably quirky and funny. The BBC America one is from 2017 - I can see it is trying to be quirky but it is mostly gruesome...
Glad you’re able to keep things ticking over for now

Ah - was slightly thrown, because the BBC America DG is the Netflix DG in the UK, and I wasn't sure which one we were talking about. Haven't seen the new one at all, I'm afraid.
Key: Complain about this post
