A Conversation for Writing Right with Dmitri: Was du ererbt hast

Very apt advice

Wise words in this Entry - I learned a relative of mine likes to be a troll, by saying a provocative newspaper headline, calling it outrageous, and asking what other people think of it, without providing any details of the story. When they tried to play the game with me, all I could do was say, 'I don't know', but I realised later that the outrage was totally manufactured because the details of the story contradicted the headline... Conversational trust betrayed indeed, so I will aim to avoid that game in future...

"'Oh, you know what I meant to say' is not a valid excuse for a writer to be incoherent. Go out there and fight for the body of knowledge. Do it for the kids." - smiley - applausesmiley - biggrin

Thanks, Sasha. smiley - smiley That kind of trolling sounds really irritating. Good for you for catching onto it.
