Ashburger's Syndrome

A long time ago I was a riding instructor and I had the privilege to teach Nicholas a 16 year old who had Ashburger's Syndrome.
His mother had wanted him to try a "sport" and the horse gave Nicholas a freedom he had never had before. He was a quick learner and he loved the fact he was in control the horse, it was for him an important personal achievement.
His mother was proud of of him, and he was so pleased with himself, it made a difference to Nicholas well done smiley - hug
