Video: Virtual Ferris Wheel Ride

Autumn is a time for local festivals, at least in North America. Local products are consumed. There is a Peanut Butter Princess (seriously, in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania). And the carnival rides appear on Main Street.

Mrs Hoggett joked, 'See, you have to be as tall as the sign to ride.' Looking at the shortest member of the group: 'That's okay. If you're only up to the yellow line, you can ride with a responsible adult.' Thanks a lot.

My responsible adult isn't overfond of heights. So when the wheel stopped with us on the top, and the seats wobbled a bit, I looked over and asked, 'Are you all right?'

'I'm trying to think of the appropriate psalm for the occasion,' was the tight-lipped reply.

In other words, a good time was had by all. Most of the time.

I thought y'all might enjoy the virtual ride. It has the advantage of showing you the sights without that little dip your stomach makes when the wheel accelerates.
