Hello SashaQ! I enjoyed these little video-glimpses of the feathery friends in your neck of the woods. Avocets we get here … godwits, certainly not anywhere near Polokwane, but they do come to the coast, and it's cool to see them in their warm colours, they're rather duller by the time they get down here.
Just today I happened to be looking at some old videos I took of birds, so it's interesting to come here and see some vids from you too!

Yes, photos of birds are good, that they aim to capture the perfect moments, but videos really help to show the distinctive movements that they have - the preening is fascinating to watch, and I particularly like the speed of the godwits' feeding
