Collateral Damage.
Colin flew backwards, smashing through the storefront window, crimson splashing the overly-pretty Valentine's Day display.
Pink bears and chocolates partially hid the blood that spurted from his exit wounds. Gunfire still shook the walls as the shoot-out continued on Main Street.
His killer had moved on, not even registering that he'd shot Colin, keen to continue his murderous spree before the Law took him out.
Colin groaned, desperately trying to hold in the contents of his lower stomach, pleading silently through bloody bubbles for someone to help him.
The giant panda, complete with giant 'Be Mine?’ plush love heart, toppled over and obscured his final moments from view.
“Cut!” Steve Swann yelled, annoyed that another take had been ruined by bloody stuffed teddies.
As the crew reset, Henry Letterbox strolled back to his mark, his replica guns flying into the muddy street as he totally failed to do a really-cool-twirly reholster.
“Props!” Red-faced Letterbox bellowed, “Would it be too much bleedin’ trouble to get me some guns that actually, like, work? Now, you useless prats!”
Swann sighed, ‘My Very Bloody Valentine’ was going to be a very long bloody shoot!
