Good to see this in Peer Review

Reading this now, just out of interest I wondered which film Duck Tales beat at the box office!

"defeating Abis Mal's group of thieves, who swear revenge. Yet Aladdin is saved from the gang" - Aladdin defeats the thieves, but needs saving - presumably because there is a revenge attack, not just a plan?

"When Abis Mal finds and rubs the lamp belonging to former sorcerer and now genie Jafar" - The lamp *contains* the genie Jafar?

What is a "run-down parody"?

I think Aladdin and the King of Thieves could be tightened up a bit - seems to repeat quite a bit of the text after Return of Jafar...

"Jim Cummings voicing Tigger for the first time, providing his singing voice" - Could you say a bit more about the previous adaptations to explain what 'first time' means?

"Pipe organ Forte" - if you could add who Forte used to be, that would explain what 'become human again and less important' means.

"yet Simba about her safety" - worries?

Should Russi Taylor be in Bold in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas?

It is a long while since I read Winnie the Pooh - do Kanga and Roo feature more in the books than they are given credit for in the films?

I like the final paragraph - sets the scene nicely for the next instalment

"Should Russi Taylor be in Bold in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas?"
Now that is a very good question that I've asked myself and keep changing my mind about. Russi Taylor is the original voice artist for the characters Huey, Dewey and Louie in the context of 'DuckTales', even though she is not the first voice artist to have performed them. In 'Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas' she isn't the original voice artist to be Minnie Mouse, so for that character I feel she cannot be in bold. But I tweaked a bit.

In the first few DisneyToon Studios' Winnie the Pooh films, Roo is an ignored character that doesn't do anything or even appear. In their later films, as the child character that is roughly the same age as the intended audience, Roo suddenly becomes a main character, possibly third behind Pooh and Tigger.
