Your story was very astute and concerning about nostalgia and the potential to exploit childish people but I think I don't have to worry *too* much even though I was a mature child but now I'm 15 with 23 years' experience... smiley - silly

I recognise my limitations - I can barely 'adult' enough to look after myself so I haven't taken on anyone else to look after apart from my soft toy bunnies that are OK if I don't pet them every day...

Maybe it's because I have an overactive imagination but I find animated films to be vaguely equivalent to science fiction/fantasy - they take real world events/attributes and transfer them into another world where they are easier to digest in analogy form... When we watched Raymond Briggs' When the Wind Blows at school - at the end I was in pieces at how moving it was, but my friend was unmoved simply because the actors on the 2D screen were 2D rather than 3D... And then there's my favourite firefly smiley - crysmiley - loveblushhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xtrMkFIEhY
