Excellent - I dared not tackle it in December, but managed to read it today smiley - ok

Was there a particular reason why the alternative title for Carry On Henry was not in homage to the earlier film after all?

The last paragraph of Carry On Matron confuses me - which film finished ahead of schedule, and where does Carry On Cowboy fit in?

The Bless This House section is funny - there's a lot of detail in it, but as someone unfamiliar with the film I am not sure I understand it... Is it saying that Carry On regulars Peter Butterworth, Robin Askwith, Terry Scott and June Whitfield replaced members of the TV cast?

Did Carry On Abroad do comparatively well? The plot is very familiar to me - I've been on a coach trip like that! smiley - laugh

Excellent concluding paragraph smiley - applause

I've put the Cowboy section in a footnote and hopefully it is much clearer. I've also completely rewritten the 'Bless This House' bit too so it should fit in to the rest of entry better now.

I haven't been able to find a reason why they changed their minds dropped the alternative title – whether they felt it was in poor taste, didn't get it past the censors, feared legal action, not relevant when there isn't an Ann in the film or possibly just thought 'Mind My Chopper' was funnier. smiley - shrug

smiley - ok Excellent

Just out of interest, I wonder what the Alternative Titles actually are... Carry on Henry has just one, not including the proposed one, whereas At Your Convenience has four smiley - huh

Some, though not all, of the 'Carry On' films have varying degree of alternate titles. Essentially after the title screen that says, say, 'Carry On ABC' there may be a number of additional title screens saying 'Or, Alternate Title', usually in smaller text than the official 'Carry On' title. Sometimes this is very much an additional title card, sometimes the alternate title shares the same page with other credits.
