Here's an Entry about a film I quite enjoyed watching recently

If 'Igor' cost $25million to make and recouped $31million, how much was the marketing budget? I assume 'Igor' flopped and, as Sparx is a French animation studio, did it follow the old tale of doing well in Europe but couldn't muscle into the US market?
Incidentally, 'Despicable Me' is a mid-budget animation by the standards of big players Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks Animation (although as DreamWorks collapsed, it didn't really work out for them). In 2008 DreamWorks Animation films 'Kung Fu Panda' cost over $130 million and 'Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa' $150 million, Pixar's 'Wall-E' $180 million and Disney's 'Bolt' $150 million. Illumination's main mid-budget rival is Blue Sky Studios, whose film of 2008 was 'Horton Hears a Who' at $85 million.

Yes it did indeed flop... https://bombreport.com/yearly-breakdowns/2008-2/igor/
As it happened, the film only made $11million of the £31 million outside the USA, so that didn't help at all...
I've made changes accordingly

'The 2008 film Igor is a computer animated film produced by The Company and Exodus in association with Sparx Animation'
You know your 13th word along – the name that may not be named – according to your link: http://bombreport.com/yearly-breakdowns/2008-2/igor/ it was originally financed by Exodus, with The Company purchasing US distribution only to then re-sell their stake to MGM? Did you want to tweak the introduction to emphasise Exodus and avoid mentioning The
Company? (How long do you think it will be before they change their name?)

Fascinating indeed how I hadn't heard of the Company before the scandal, then lo and behold this film had links to it...
I've updated that sentence so hopefully it reads better now...
