Sorry – I've only just discovered that 16th September is Owain Glyndŵr Day, so I wish I'd commented a fortnight ago.

I enjoyed reading about this – I must admit I am curious if the railway has appeared in any notable films or television series? My other question is whether the carriages were compartment carriages or corridor compartment carriages? Is it possible for a passenger to get to a different compartment without getting outside the carriage?

I found that the Railway has featured in a documentary about the Beeching Cuts, and Fred Dibnah went there, but it doesn't seem to have been in any films yet.

The First Class carriages are Corridor Compartment Carriages, yes
