All right, we can't blame social media for the Führer, Godwin's Law or no Godwin's Law. Think about it: we can't blame social media for the Führer. There's an old saying, and it applies: 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.' Also: 'Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.' That applies to more than your O levels.
Why do we harp on the past? Because it matters. Because past behaviour is often indicative of future action. Particularly if we fail to learn the lessons.
Because it was only a few months ago when we were all shocked – shocked, I tell you – by the season finale of The Man in the High Castle. Why does that eerie song sound so familiar now?
