That's definitely something I try my best to do with my role-play characters. I will never get every characterisation right because I'm usually exploring things I've never done before - warriors, priests, magicians - but I try to make them consistent within themselves.

It's sometimes the favourite part of the game! Trying to find what will motivate them, what would be their weaknesses, how they interact with THAT thing, how they will react if THAT person speaks to them, what hand gestures do they use, if they have any speech patterns/tics/accents, how does their body language express their personality, all that is fascinating to me. smiley - smiley
