Like an old divorced couple indeed!
Is it possible to have a 'nice' conversation with any of thee infernal machines?

Oh, you comment that this reponse from Cleverbot was not being articulate:
"Do you believe it is normal to be not really talking about me, are you?"
It's perfectly articulate, so long as Cleverbot is Welsh. Welsh people add a confirmatory question in a random person at the end of every sentence, e.g.
"I hear Evans has taken up with a new fancy woman, does it?"
"That was a beautiful rendition of Bread of Heaven, have they?"

I love it!
In Pennsylvania, German speakers (Pennsylvania Dutch) say 'ain't?' at the end of every such sentence.

I've found something that might be of interest to Cleverbot and ELIZA.

Pointless arguing - with added voices.
They need a referee.

That video is so bad it's good - at least one of those bots definitely did seem to be Cleverbot, but I'm not sure the other one was something else. The conversation was equally as painful as Cleverbot vs ELIZA, though
The tinderbot is amusingly weird interactive art!
I don't agree with some of the artist's views, though... I can imagine two Cleverbots trying to romance each other, but it's hardly the same as two avatars interacting as the faces of the humans behind them - I wouldn't trust Cleverbot to be my representative in saying what my name is, never mind establishing relationships with another person who happens to have a Cleverbot as their representative!

Incidentally, the steamiest scenes of the 1993 Lady Chatterley adaptation were filmed at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, with the Isle of Wight doubling for France.

Of course they were...
Wasn't some part of it filmed in Kew Gardens, with the naked actors being spotted by tourists on a double-decker bus?
