Nice Entry smiley - ok

Do you want to say the Festival is the second after Liverpool?

Ah, more memories! The slides remind me of those dry slides there used to be, where you'd get a hessian bag to slide down in - I felt such pride on the day I managed to sit up and go over one of the bumps without falling over, and then I fell over on the very next bump and slid the rest of the way lying down smiley - laugh Still fun, though - I went on those loads of times!

I've been to a couple of tropical waterparks in Wales, I think they were. Not quite so much fun, although I liked the warm water. First one, the wave machine started and I went under the wave rather than over it, so my dad had to rescue me, and then the second one I somehow managed to scrape the top of my foot in a neat but painful circle...

Waterworld is a popular word! There's a place near me, but it is just an aquatics centre where you buy pond stuff.

There's no reason not to mention that Liverpool was the first Festival, so I've added that little detail.smiley - ta

I used to love those dry bumpy slides – we had one in my hometown of Sandown which sadly has gone now – it was sold on ebay. http://www.islandecho.co.uk/news/another-blow-sandown-bumpy-slide-set-go

I dread to think what the postage and packaging on it would have been like…
