To put my money where my mouth is: My NaJo series this year will be 'A Hymn a Day'. (The hymns may not sound like what you're used to hearing at St Martin-in-the-Fields.)

I don't get the A-page thing. I have to remember which A-pages to go to and click on them every day to see if the entry has been added to??? Seems rather complicated. If the contributor wrote in the form of a new conversation every day, then I could subscribe to the entry and the conversations would appear on my convo list, but working out which entries to read every day????

I shall do the same as 2legs and BB just write a journal, as it's supposed to be a JO-urnal PO-sting project. I am conceding to the more vehement protesters, however, and will try and bundle it all into one thread. Happy unravelling!

I think the A-page thing is for people who like to have their writings linked to in The h2g2 Post (it can't cope with linking to journals). But I agree with you - we can't signal when it's been updated without writing a journal or linked conversation somewhere anyway - and we're automatically subscribed to our friends' journals in any case.

Thanks, Icy, that does seem to be the problem. There is no automatic notification if an A-page is altered - you have to go and find it yourself.
