h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Tom is 39 today--for the next month-and-a-week, he's only 3 years younger than I am He's at music practice right now--he, PaperKid, and a friend of ours are putting together Tom's 2nd CD (PaperKid isn't on the first, though she *is* in the picture of the band in the cover). We're not doing anything big for his birthday--he already went out and got his birthday freebies at Denny's and Dutch Bro's (a meal and any size of any drink (DB is a coffee place), respectively). Since there's no way to tell when he's going to be back from practice, usually this day of the week is eat-whatever-when-you're-hungry, but I do have some chicken and veggies simmering in a creamy sauce to throw over rice once they get home, since sitting on the stove isn't going to hurt anything. There's a carrot cake sitting on the table, and the girls and I got him a betta, with all the accouterments. He's very hard to buy for, but he does like fish, and this one's a beauty.
