Here's another Entry to add to my Liverpool collection.

Thats a surprise never come across this man, very interesting man, well done this is a very good entry

An enjoyable read. I don't think I've ever been in a Littlewoods as they were only a mainland chain, but I was impressed with the personal touch. Presumably that's where 'this researcher's parents' met?

Would it be worth mentioning that one of the paintings at the 1959/60 Sir John Moores Exhibition was 'Summer Painting' by Stuart Sutcliffe, which Sir John Moores himself bought for £65. With this money, Sutcliffe bought a bass guitar and joined the Quarry Men, a group that he suggested should change its name to 'The Beatles'? This group enjoyed a fair degree of success in the 1960s.
