A Conversation for Writing Right with Dmitri: What's New About History?
Times do indeed change!

Having been transported back forty years by the mere act of signing My grandsons first Christmas card from"nan and gag", seeing my grandparents looking at me through those three little words that mean so much, words I couldn't imagine writing myself back then. It got me thinking about things we take for granted and words and phrases the kids use that I don't get, such as "banging donk " and bishop of banterbury " .
Stuff that I now say regularly , but would've been totally alien to my grandparents (and parents) back then....
The wi fi s crashed
See what's on planner
Bloody autocorrect
I'll text you later
Log on to Skype,
Mikes plugged into his ps4 again
I'll order it online.
Where's my phone and I'll take a pic
The cars telling me it needs a service.
Anything that involves a selfie!
Strange how the world moves on so quickly, think about what you say without thinking today and you'll see what I mean.

How true that is!
I haven't heard anybody say 'Far out' in donkey's years. And my grandniece got a 'selfie attachment' for her phone for Christmas.
