I'm not sure which I find more sad: that Earthmen never ventured more than 240,000 miles from their home planet, or that they have forgotten and don't remember or celebrate even that meager journey every year on its anniversary. Forty-tw.... err.. forty-six years ago, Man visited their moon. It was perhaps their single greatest achievement since they decided legs might be useful. My monitoring of broadcasts found exactly four mentions of it today, and two of them were from me.
