collect Captcha

Wrong way around, I collected some experiences regarding the Captcha.
You will find the local travel experience below.

Actually using wikipedia I was also often hit by the Captcha. Triggers are duration of page open for edit, page relevance and page size.
They have a functional one, readable even with very tired eyes. And not at any point flushing your work. It may not save anything but you still can.

Captcha stands for:
Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.

The Captcha used by cloudflare is rubbish!
--I could not read it as the code is very small and low contrast. In the conversations this is also mentioned.
Imagine a computer program trying to bypass the captcha, first thing to do is magnify (what I have done for OCR in the past was connecting pixels to lines of near equal colour) and maximise contrast. As a human I can neither (not in an instant).
--What the XXX is the need to copy and paste? The designed computer program will have a dedicated buffer for such nonsense. My only buffer is my paste buffer, I can only use one (with a single touch)
--What is the idea behind requiring using local scripts to end up anywhere but UserEdit and a new entry?

This Captcha indeed seperates humans and computers, the humans stop their attempts in despair while the computers will just spam on.

So far I have not heard anyone using an alternative OS for the same entry. In my case this works, the XP system gets a Captcha in any skin (adding or removing a single space) and the Debian system just saves the entry.

Gnomon suggests different OS does not matter, though as far as I see he uses them on different IP as well.

Several people suggested the Capthca triggers on profanities though I have my doubts, I think it has more to do with the update frequency <online2long>

I post a lot, always a new place, as with new entries no problem.
I change a lot in my entries, updates, typos, links.

And by now even this entry should be cought.

Several updates later, I guess one of the triggers is Musof.

Just tried on jet another computer <sigh>
XP FF and failing on the first attempt

Gnomon does <yikes>
OK, I've tested it on Android, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Debian, and in all of them I get the same problem. It's not an operating system issue.

Gnomon a few days later:
I managed to get my Dolmabahce Palace entry past the Captcha by removing the name of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk from it.

Just proving the point it is not only catching the 'profanity'

Dumping a page source in an entry also does the trick.
I tried in attempt to swiftly ship the source to the email client.
Even the tiniest part already triggers the <monster>
I can copy the title bit but after that the scripting starts even the open tag seems fatal.

Perhaps I should not have set the entry to GuideML in the first place

After some time the entries become free again ? Well I can edit mine to the extend of bulk loading and changing.

What do you call those squiggly letters you have to input on some websites to prove you are human?

Still contains interesting material on the concept.
