" H2G2's
simplest claim to difference here is precisely that it is a guide, rather than an encyclopaedic reference work. Posts have attributions and are clearly someone's "take" on a subject, albeit one where peer review ensures factual accuracy as far as possible. Furthermore, there is a real sense of "voice" on H2G2, one that in many ways reflects Douglas Adams' own – a slightly ironic, irreverent yet somehow delighted view of the world.

Despite all the above, and having no idea of the number of visitors (if any) to the h2g2 web pages, we expended great effort every day to send an update to the website throughout the voyage.

not reliable site
Instead of finding a site to cite I found the internet to be an ulimately unreliable source of information. This site manages to gibber the name incorrect! They do make some funny quote in the respect between wiki and HooToo.
Library Website
This site represents:
British Library, the National Library of Scotland, the National Library of Wales, Bodleian Libraries, Cambridge University Library and Trinity College Dublin
Sounds as impressive bunch of literate institutions.
And instead of managing to actually search the internet or whatever for references I get cought by the Captcha and has a severe case of dna skin allegy.
