No hot action (the story's rated Teen, not Mature) and I think Frederick gets a cameo (certainly mentioned) but it's been too long since I read it to remember exactly, and I'm not skimming over it to check http://www.fimfiction.net/story/39157/the-best-of-all-possible-worlds 'Tis 136K+ words and 45 chapters.

I saw another cartoon on TV today - Equestria Girls. It was the My Little Ponies in human form Much more gendered than the pony version - even my favourite mellow voiced blue pony had to wear a skirt when she was human, although she did have shorts on underneath the skirt... One of the baddie girls wore pink trousers, but that was it... Similar theme, that there were moral messages in the episode, but I definitely prefer the pony version cartoon I saw...
Fascinating...

I'm not sure whether it counts as the "next shocking fad" but I recently learned of the advent of "hipsters" whose style includes the wearing of big beards - I think that means nobody can accuse them of not being "real men" like the other examples in this Entry, as I guess it takes quite a lot of testosterone to create such full-bodied face furniture, but I don't know whether that means that the statement about the "next shocking fad" needs tweaking somehow so that it doesn't date too quickly...
Otherwise, this Entry is looking great

Thanks for the clarification.
Yeah, I didn't want to relate the 'next shocking fad' to bronies,s though - but to the totality of the entry, which is (in spite of the tenor of the comments) about various gender-stretching men's fads over the centuries.
But if somebody has a suggestion other than mimosa brunches, I'll consider it...
The mimosa brunches are sort of a 'ladies' thing' in this country, which is why I thought of it.

Just for the record, I happened to discover the first My Little Pony episode featuring John De Lancie today
His character Discord is very like Q, with strong powers eg transporting ponies to new places instantaneously for them to take part in trials, and promising them goodies in return for their obedience to him... Deliciously sinister
He therefore did rather steal the show!

I must say I have enjoyed reading this PR thread. I'm impressed that Sasha tracked down a My Little Pony episode with Q in itand I'd also like to - can you let me know what TV channel I have to trawl, or is it on YouTube?
I also found some weird photoshopped images when searching for something else yesterday. I'll drop by the subbing thread with that one, Dmitrialthough I ought to give you fair warning so you can have Elektra stand by to catch you as you faint

My pleasure, Dmitri - they are strangely enjoyable, but I don't blame you for steering clear
Yes, it was fantastic when I realised the episode I spotted was the first one with Discord/Q in Unfortunately, I didn't realise it was part 1 of 2, so I missed the second part, but no doubt it will be repeated again sometime soon.
The channel is on Freeview - just called POP, and TinyPOP is another channel that has episodes on it too.
We'll be turning into Bronies at this rate!

Would you believe when I was driving to Mum's today, on my local radio station came "Manic Monday" by The Bangles. I was singing along to the words and Rudy Valentino is in there.
