Thank you - I enjoyed this. Not as challenging as some of the other crosswords with Entries in the Guide, but I'm impressed by how you compiled it, and it was just right for a quick holiday puzzle

I'm glad you enjoyed it - it was intended to be a quick, fun, holiday puzzle that's not too difficult so most people can hopefully do it.
I've been doing one a year for the last decade, but it's only been in 
for the last 3 or 4. As I'm determined not to waste a single square, the challenge is to shoe-horn in whatever word will fit in the gap and vaguely try and make it Christmassy. Words that I somehow got away with this year include 'ok', 'Epistle', 'Dent', 'Ode', 'SD', 'Oils' and 'Cow'.
