We've had the first half of the year. Yes, already. And we want to know what you've been doing. In particular, have you travelled somewhere new and exciting? We feel sure some of you will have been to far away places. You've hiked to Machu Picchu, toured the Great Wall of China, gone snorkeling in the Caribbean. But, of course, what you mean by far away will depend on where you come from. So, if you're an Australian travelling in Europe, we'd love to hear your impressions.

Even if you've spent most of the last six months stuck behind a keyboard, there are places you can visit in your imagination. You could tell us a story set on a distant planet, or write a poem inspired by a traveller's tale.

We would love to read your Edited Guide articles, stories, poetry and photos. And being far away is no excuse. You've got the internet.
