Nope - still good
Very interesting that they decided to stick with the ending in the story for Mulan, yet they changed the ending completely for The Little Mermaid (which I didn't object to, as I have seen an animation of the actual Hans Christian Anderson story, and the last scene is still vivid in my mind when I think of it...).
Excellent summaries - I especially found it interesting to read the section about The Black Cauldron, which I haven't seen.

I'm glad you enjoyed reading about 'The Black Cauldron' – I had wondered whether that bit was a bit too long. Yet it is a film that looks absolutely fantastic, has an amazing voice cast and has practically no plot or audience engagement, mainly because the baddy doesn't really do a lot. There's something fascinating about films with so much promise that ultimately fail completely.

I'm reading this again
I did wonder who Ben Kenobi was, but maybe that's because it's a long time since I saw Star Wars... He is more famously known as Obi Wan, I think, but maybe not...
"These dogs are looked after by Fagan" - you have Fagan and Fagin - which is right?
I think it's Touchstone Pictures, not Touchstone Studios - is that right?

'it's a long time since I saw Star Wars...'
So, you saw it a long time ago on a television far, far away?
'He is more famously known as Obi Wan, I think, but maybe not...'
In the film 'Star Wars', which is predominantly (but far from exclusively) told from Luke Skywalker's perspective, Luke calls Kenobi 'Ben' or occasionally 'Old Ben' rather than 'Obi-Wan'. In later films Kenobi is named 'Obi-Wan' more often, but still called 'Ben' by Luke, especially in those little moments when Luke's freezing to death or hanging upside down from a cloud city with no hope of rescue.
Other spellings corrected,

I actually saw Star Wars a long time ago in a cinema far far away so I really enjoyed the experience, and as a result I haven't felt the need to see it again, although I acknowledge I didn't pick up on all the aspects of it in one viewing, so I didn't remember about Ben.
