Well, this is entry number 3, but it is, alas, the 4th, so I have already flunked out of NaJoPoMo for 2014. I'm not really feeling it this year, so far, but I'm going to try to keep up from now on. Things may pick up.

I am really pretty depressed and anxious this year. The cell phone just rang and it gave me a little panic attack. I sent it to voicemail. I know who it is and I'm not in the mood to talk to them right now. Hopefully she'll leave a message.

The home phone rang immediately following the cell phone call. I answered. It was a building contractor soliciting business. The spam phone calls on our home phone are constant. That was the second one we've had today. I report some of them to the Do Not Call List cause I think they're scams. I don't report the local contractors, but maybe I should. I want to get an air horn and blow it in the ears of these callers, I'm so sick of them. I know that won't make them stop calling, but it would make me feel better.

I wish we could get rid of the house phone, cause most of the calls we get on it are spam calls, but we do use it. I don't use it. I use my cell phone. But my dad uses it. And while he does have a cell phone, all his friends have the house phone number and he doesn't want to have to go through changing his number with all of his friends and associates.

Those calls *are* really annoying. I have caller ID on my phone and if it's no-one I know I don't answer. They can't leave a message as I disabled the answerphone - it beeps when there's a message and I used to come home at the end of the day and find an electronic caller had left a message at 9am. This meant the dog had been subjected to two beeps every minute all day long.

Deb smiley - cheerup

Yeah, we don't have caller ID as my dad doesn't want to pay the extra for it. Fortunately my answerphone doesn't beep. The phones (there are 5 of them) all blink when there's a message. Doesn't bother the dog, but we often don't see the blinking when we get home. They are relatively new phones and we get so few messages, we aren't used to looking for the blinking.
