This morning, I happened to run across an article on a familiar place in my old neighbourhood. I got to thinking, 'What is the Edited Guide about? World events, or real people?'
I decided to leave the World Events to the Encyclopedia Galactica for the day, and write about some real people. The Schmitz/Smith family turned out to be neighbours to be proud of.
Surprise: I found all the documents and quotes I needed online.
I also ran into a bizarre little booklet about the history of my town, but that's for another day...

An excellent choice for a subject
One thing I would like the see is why they adopted the name 'Zoar Home' is it a German word or somebody's name?
The Entry reads well and I enjoyed it. I will come back later for another read through.

This is a lovely entry.
A caring and tolerant attitude makes all the difference. Too often girls in this position were forced to give up their babies but it sounds as if the Schmitzes gave them support and advice.

That's the impression I got, MVP. And isn't it refreshing to find caring people like that?
I'm glad you liked this one. I know it's not as dramatic as some of our entries, but it's still history...
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Recommended for the Edited Guide!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
